I am a Photographer, Poet and Writer living in the City of Liverpool who has written over 20 books and collaborations including the well known anthology of poetry “In Violet” and I am the official biographer of two Italian saints: Clare of Assisi and Gemma Galgani of Lucca.

Studying photography in the 1970’s at the Laird School of Art in Merseyside led to a long career as a photographer firstly in forensics (yes! the scary stuff of “Silent Witness”) then general photography, film making and managing and curating the UK’s largest private film, photographic archive and picture library. I also spent twelve years on Kensington Palace’s royal photographic rota working with Her Royal Highness Diana - Princess of Wales that turned into an epic period and rollercoaster of unforgettable personal and public memories. My time as a photographer over the years allowed me to feature many times on television, radio and as a real life character in Blake Morrison’s book of stories "Too True”
